MBA vs PMBA

I am trying to decide between the MBA program at Francis Marion University and the PMBA program and University of South Carolina.   I was told that the PMBA program was not a complete MBA.  What is the difference between the two programs and is there a disadvantage to either one?

errn2000,

To be perfectly honest they are extremely similar. The PMBA is a program for people who are already in their professional careers who would like to seek an advanced degree. Its a 28 month program that is geared to those already working full time.  Our program is an MBA program with classes day or night and open to any full-time student or employed person. Each program is accredited by the AACSB and each program awards an MBA.  I would say that our program is best suited for you because we can accommodate professionals as well as we accommodated full-time students. I hope this helps!
