A Question Regarding Teacher Certification

I recently graduated from FMU and I'm thinking about coming back to get certified to teach English on the secondary education level.  Will the classes I took to get my bachelor's count towards this new degree?  What classes may I have to take over?  What do I need to know about coming back for, essentially, my second bachelor's?

Re: A Question Regarding Teacher Certification

sjackson,

You've got some great questions. First off, you'll have to do at least another 36 hours to get another BS or BA. The classes you've already taken will count, typically but not always. Depending on the degree you've earned will determine where you'll need to start. If you already have an English degree then you're more than halfway there. Please give us a call so we can talk in more detail. Thanks. 843-661-1231
